Why is Likvido the recipient of my payment?

Opdateret i dag

We understand it may be confusing to see Likvido Drift ApS as the required recipient name for your payment, especially if the original invoice was with a different company. This is due to recent EU regulations designed to ensure payment security.

Security and Verification of Payee (VoP)

For international transfers, your bank is now required to perform a Verification of Payee (VoP) check. This check verifies that the name you enter for the recipient matches the legal name registered to the bank account.

  • Our Role: Likvido is managing the collection of this payment on behalf of the original creditor.

  • Our Account: The bank account receiving your payment is legally registered to Likvido Drift ApS.

  • Avoiding Delays: To ensure your payment is processed instantly and without being flagged, blocked, or delayed by your bank, you must enter the exact name of the account holder: Likvido Drift ApS.

If you enter the name of the original creditor, the bank's security check will detect a mismatch, which can lead to payment failure or significant processing delays.
